Having accepted Christ at the age of five, Pastor Brett was brought up in a life of service and is a 4th generation pastor. As the result of a life of faith and consecration to Christ, Brett grew into his gifts as a composer, worship leader, and pastor through his completion of a missions-focused biblical ministry training with Teen Mania Ministries. After having served at Praise Center in Brussels, Belgium for over 16 years, Brett, his wife Marie, and their children followed his parent’s example of leaving their comfort zone for the call of Christ by moving to the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2012.
Once they arrived in the DRC, Brett and Marie served in a large local church for 6 years before receiving the call to serve as the lead pastor at IPCK. Brett and Marie have been happily married for 15 years and live in Kinshasa with their three younger children, with their 2 older children studying abroad.
